Police Football Club is an association football club based in Kigali, Rwanda and currently competes the Rwanda Premier League.
History
Police FC was founded 2000 by the Rwanda National Police (RNP). The club won 2003 the Championnat National de 2e Division and was promoted in the Rwanda National Football League. In 2011 and 2012, Police FC were runners up of the Rwanda National Football League. The first win followed 2015 with winning of the Rwandan Cup and 2016 lost in the final of the cup,
Police FC är ett rwandiskt fotbollslag baserat i Kigali. Klubben grundades 1986 och spelar sina hemmamatcher på Kigali Stadium. Police FC har vunnit den rwandiska Premier League sju gånger, senast 2014–15, och har också vunnit Rwandan Cup fyra gånger. På den internationella arenan har Police FC deltagit i CAF Champions League och CAF Confederation Cup vid flera tillfällen, med sin bästa prestation som nådde semifinal i Confederation Cup 2016. Laget drivs av Rwandas nationella polis och består huvudsakligen av poliser och tjänstemän. Police FC är känt för sitt starka försvar och sitt fysiska spel. De har också en stark ungdomsakademi som har producerat ett antal begåvade spelare.
