Al-Ittihad Sport, Cultural & Social Club (Arabic: نادي إتحاد طرابلس الرياضي الثقافي الاجتماعي) famously known as 'Al-Ittihad, is a football club based in Bab Ben Gashier, Tripoli, Libya. They have won the Libyan Premier League 19 times, the Libyan Cup 7 times and the Libyan SuperCup 11 times. Al-ittihad reached the semi-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup in 2010.
History
Al-Ittihad Club was founded on July 29, 1944, after a merger between three clubs, "Al Ummal", "Al Nahda" & "Al Shabab". Mohamed Al-Krewi (Arabic: محمد الكريو) was the founder and first president.
Al-Ittihad Tripoli, eller Al-Ittihad, är en libysk fotbollsklubb i Tripoli. Klubben grundades 1944 och spelar sina hemmamatcher på Stadium 11 June. Al-Ittihad är en av de mest framgångsrika klubbarna i Libyen och har vunnit många nationella titlar, däribland 17 ligatitlar och 11 cuptitlar. Klubben har också nått framgångar i afrikanska klubbturneringar och har vunnit CAF Confederation Cup två gånger.
