The Taipei Taishin Mars (Chinese: 臺北台新戰神) are a Taiwanese professional basketball team based in Taipei City. They have competed in the T1 League since the 2023–24 season, and play their home games at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium, Taipei Dome and National Taiwan University Sports Center.
History
On June 6, 2023, the Taishin Financial Holdings announced to establish the Taishin Sports Entertainment Co., Ltd. On June 26, the T1 League announced that the Taishin Sports Entertainment Co., Ltd. took over the participation rights of the TaiwanBeer HeroBears. On August 24, the team was announced as the Taipei Taishin Mars.
Taipei Taishin Mars är ett professionellt basketlag baserat i Taipei City, Taiwan. Laget tävlar i Super Basketball League (SBL), den högsta nivån av professionell basket i Taiwan. Mars grundades 2020 och är ett av de nyare lagen i SBL.
Mars ägs av Taishin Financial Holdings och har sin hemmaarena i Taipei Heping Basketball Gym. Lagets huvudtränare är Chris Gavina.
Mars har ännu inte vunnit något SBL-mästerskap, men laget nådde finalen 2021, där de förlorade mot P.League+-laget Taoyuan Leopards.
