Grand Valley State Universitys basketlag, även känt som Lakers, tävlar i NCAA Division II och representerar Grand Valley State University i Allendale, Michigan. Laget tränas av huvudtränare Ric Wesley.

Lakers har spelat i NCAA Division II-turneringen 27 gånger, inklusive 22 raka framträdanden från 1997 till 2018. De har vunnit sju NCAA Division II-mästerskap (1992, 1993, 1994, 1996, 2000, 2009, 2019) och är den enda skolan som har vunnit tre på varandra följande NCAA Division II-mästerskap.

Lakers har också vunnit 22 Great Lakes Intercollegiate Athletic Conference (GLIAC)-mästerskap, inklusive 16 raka från 2002 till 2017. De är den enda skolan som har vunnit 10 raka GLIAC-mästerskap.

Lakers har en stark tradition av excellens och har producerat ett antal framgångsrika spelare, inklusive Doug Anderson, Jake Van Tubbergen och Richaun Holmes.

Lagets hemmaplan är Fieldhouse Arena i Allendale, Michigan.
