Wikipedia - Premier League International Cup

The Premier League International Cup is an English football competition for under-23 teams from across Europe. It was designed to provide players in English Category One academies with the opportunity to match themselves against other elite European footballers from their age group in a competitive environment. The competition was created by the Premier League as part of the organisation's Elite Player Performance Plan and is not sanctioned by UEFA.

Premier League International Cup är en fotbollsturnering för ungdomslag från Premier League-klubbar och inbjudna internationella lag. Turneringen spelas varje år sedan 2014 och är en möjlighet för unga spelare att få erfarenhet av att spela mot internationellt motstånd.

Turneringen spelas i ett gruppspelsformat, där lagen delas in i fyra grupper om fyra lag. De två bästa lagen i varje grupp går vidare till kvartsfinal, semifinal och final.

Premier League International Cup har vunnit av ett antal olika klubbar, bland annat Manchester City, Liverpool och Chelsea. Turneringen har också varit en bra plattform för unga spelare att visa upp sin talang, med många spelare som har gått vidare till att spela för sina landslag och i högstadivisionen.

Premier League International Cup är en viktig del av Premier Leagues ungdomsutvecklingsprogram och ger unga spelare en möjlighet att få ovärderlig erfarenhet av att spela mot internationellt motstånd.
