Wikipedia - P. League+

The P. League+ (stylized as P. LEAGUE+, abbreviated as PLG), pronounced as Plus League, is a Taiwanese men's professional basketball league founded in 2020.

History

The P. League+ was founded by Blackie Chen in 2020. It is the first fully professional basketball league in Taiwan after the Chinese Basketball Alliance (CBA) ceased operations in 2000. The first four teams participating in the inaugural season were the Formosa Taishin Dreamers, the Hsinchu JKO Lioneers, the Taipei Fubon Braves, and the Taoyuan Pilots. In its second season 2021–22, the P. League+ added two more teams, the New Taipei Kings and the Kaohsiung Steelers.

Taiwan - P.League är en professionell basketligan i Taiwan som grundades 2019. Ligan består av sex lag: Formosa Taishin Dreamers, Hsinchu JKO Lioneers, Kaohsiung Aquas, New Taipei CTBC DEA, Taichung Suns och Taipei Fubon Braves. Säsongen varar från november till maj, med varje lag som spelar 30 matcher under den ordinarie säsongen. De fyra bästa lagen går vidare till slutspelet, som avgörs i en bäst-av-fem-serie. P.League är den högsta nivån av basket i Taiwan och lockar några av de bästa spelarna i landet. Ligan är också populär bland fans, med höga publiksiffror och en stark social medie-följare.
